Odessa Police Charge Woman in Connection to Super Wash Robbery

LOCATION: 3304 Andrews Highway (Super Wash)
Odessa Police have charged a woman in connection to a robbery that occurred last year at the Super Wash. As a result of an Odessa Crime Stoppers tip, the suspect was positively identified as Blaine Lavonna Decker, date of birth 04/11/1989. On 2-5-19, OPD detectives obtained warrants for Decker, who was already in custody at the ECLEC on unrelated charges.
ORIGINAL SUMMARY FROM 1-14-19:
On 10-6-18 at approximately 1734 hours, Odessa Police responded to 3304 Andrews Highway (Super Wash) in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed that an employee left their iPhone, identification card, debit cards and $300 on a countertop. The female subject shown below then took the employee’s property and began running northbound through the parking lot.
Two employees chased the suspect and when they caught up to her, the suspect swung at both employees and struck one of them in the face. The suspect then fled the scene a second time on foot.
