For twelve years, my mode of transportation to and from school was by yellow hound bus. I am a proud OHS BRONCHO!
HIGHER EDUCATION
ODESSA JUNIOR COLLEGE
My higher education experiences began at Odessa Junior College in 1967. I played baseball for the OC Wranglers under the legendary coach, Julian Pressley. I give credit to "Coach" Pressley for having opened up my opportunities to pursue a career in baseball as well as paving the way for me to receive my higher education degrees. I played baseball at OC on a full scholarship from 1967-1969 and maintained honor roll academics as well. I earned an Associate's Degree in Arts & Sciences from Odessa College in 1969. I am a proud ODESSA COLLEGE WRANGLER!
TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY
I continued my higher education at Texas Tech University beginning in August of 1969. I was provided a full academic scholarship by Texas Tech to play baseball as well. I received my Bachelor's in Secondary Education degree from Texas Tech in May of 1971. Following my undergraduate graduation, I enrolled in a Master's in Guidance & Counseling program at Texas Tech and successfully completed the Master's requirements in May of 1975. I am a proud TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY RED RAIDER!
UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS of THE PERMIAN BASIN and SUL ROSS UNIVERSITY
My love for learning encouraged me to pursue a Mid-management in Administration certification program through UTPB and Sul Ross University. In June of 1980, I earned my Mid-management certification from Sul Ross University. I had the privilege of experiencing educational pedagogy from four quality institutions that prepared me for successes in life I continue to enjoy today.
