Harmony Home's goal is to be that place for children and to end child abuse. The nonprofit opened its doors in 1993 and has advocated for children ever since. They are aware of these children's trauma and are always looking for ways to make the process easier, especially emotionally for the kids.
They also work to get families talking and raise awareness by holding a "Party in the Park." While they do a lot of education, they are continuously expanding. They have a program called Darkness to Light. It specifically teaches adults how to respond, react, and report child sexual abuse.
Another program that targets kids is called Child Safety Matters. It's where Harmony Home representatives go to schools to open up the kids' eyes to what might be happening around them.
