Home Brew Coffee Co. has been around for two years! They go around and do pop-up events.
Fabian Maldonado and his family own Home Brew Coffee Co. While he works full-time in the Oilfield as a welder and his wife works full-time in the medical field, they serve coffee from their truck after work and on the weekends. He even tried to work at different coffee shops to gain coffee experience but was overlooked because of a lack of experience.
"The hardest part was teaching ourselves how to make the coffee and running a business."
They learned from youtube videos and experimented with drink ideas. Fabian shared that when it came to business, it was completely different than what he was used to, but he has found the process fascinating.
The first big event they participated in was The Dobbs Law Firm having them come out to Medical Center Hospital during Hospital Week and serve the doctors and nurses. They are excited to take part in as many pop-up events as possible.
Fabian thought they needed to be a stand-alone coffee truck, but doing events guaranteed more people would attend. Businesses together bring more people together. He hopes more places around town will be open to housing food trucks because spots are hard to find.
The ultimate goal is to have a brick-and-mortar in town.
Fabian's favorite drink is a classic Americano, and his wife Amanda's favorite drink is a pumpkin white chocolate mocha with almond milk and cold foam. Their son, John Maldonado's favorite drink is the Caramel Cortado.
