[ARCHIVED] Lost Treasures Of Texas

Tanya Draper

Tanya DraperShe was in a dark place with the devil on her back and drug addiction. On and off from 2008 until 2020, she battled her demons. Tanya landed in the lost treasures business after getting fired. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise! She was missing quite a bit of work since her father was in bad health, and he needed her help. He came up with the idea to start a new venture, and together they started a business.

They started out buying at garage sales, and one thing led to another. Thirteen years later, the “Lost Treasures of Texas” just keeps growing, and Tanya is a smiling, happy woman these days. Her dad Joe Brewer is also her business partner and support system. He’s been there for her since day one.
Tanya also found love. She has been happily married for a year and a half. Her husband, John Draper, is from Paris, Texas. He came to Odessa for the oilfield. Oddly enough, he was a customer at her thrift store.
Tanya’s favorite thing about Odessa is the people. She says they are the most genuine people out there, and she loves her city and her job; her customers are her family. You can find almost anything under the sun at this little thrift store, including a big-hearted woman.
