Richard McCalop Jr. graduated from Permian High School in 2011 and continues to make incredible strides in his career.
We caught up with him yesterday at the Boys & Girls Club in Odessa as he gears up for the camp. Last year, Richard was in Adam Sandler’s film, Hustle. He’s also in a popular, world famous video game NBA 2K and can be seen in the
motion capture dunks. Something else exciting, Richard is also in a Google Pixel Commercial.
He’s proud to have been born and raised in Odessa and loves coming home. The 2nd Annual Richard McCalop Jr. Basketball Camp is open to all ages and it's only $50. You can register at the door.
On Sunday, there will be a performance by Shout Cheerleading and a Dunk Show. We are a huge fan of his motto: BE GREAT.
