Karime Jordan, a Co-Owner of the restaurant, took it over in 2021. The Odessa native gave us a look at some exciting changes happening.
A huge paved parking lot is being constructed. There are also new areas for band members and new restrooms for those cowboys and cowgirls. She wants folks to know not only are there concerts of all genres at Dos Amigos, there’s also a
restaurant/bar/event center as well as a venue that can be rented for private parties, company parties, etc.
Karime says the restaurant was closed for 8 years before she opened it back up. She’s also had many struggles along the way. She lost her brother and dad last year within three months. Her mom has also been battling cancer, so she was spending a lot of time at MD Anderson taking care of her in Houston. Along with helping her family, she also owns and runs operations for Jordan Energy Services. It’s a company she started in 2018. She juggles so much!
Her goal is to provide a clean, fun and safe environment at Dos Amigos. The Odessa woman has a vision for bringing back something from the past, BULL RIDING! Some famous bull riders got their start there.
