The Odessa Spire was cleaned recently by Giant Rent & Wash. Some compare and call the “Odessa Spire,” the West Texas Eiffel Tower.
“When Odessa Arts first approached us with the request to clean the spire, we were deeply honored,” said Austin James, Giant Rent & Wash Owner.
A meticulously crafted plan was made to ensure the Spire’s preservation. The Odessa company’s team utilized a long-range chemical pump to apply an eco-friendly degreaser and rinsed it with hot water and low pressure. Then, they carefully surface washed the base with hot water, removing all organic matter that had accumulated.
“The job in its entirety took a little over three hours,” said Austin.
As far as the sign’s history, talks of doing something with the Old Cloth World sign first started back in 2014. That sign dates back to the 1970’s.
Giant Rent & Wash also rents pressure washers and has started cleaning carpet and tile/grout.
