Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, there will be a lane closure for the 3600 block of W. 8th Street. This will be done in three phases. The lane closures will be between NW Loop 338 and Avenue B. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction for Phase 1 and 2. The three phase lane closures are expected to take up to one week. A private utility contractor will be working to install a new water main line across 8th Street. The public is asked to observe all traffic control devices and to expect delays.
Also starting today, there will be a road closure for the 2300 block of E. 26th Street. The road closure will be between N. Grandview Avenue and Crown Avenue. This closure is expected to take up to one week and the street will be reopened by Monday, April 17, 2023. A private utility contractor will be working to install a new water main line. The public is asked to find alternate routes and to expect delays.
