Lawn Mowing Program:
The City of Odessa Community Development department, offers Lawn Mowing assistance for those who qualify for the program. To be considered, citizens must meet the following criteria:
- Reside within the city of limits of Odessa.
- Everyone living in the home is at least 65 years old or disabled.
- Own the home in which they reside.
- Have a total household income not exceeding HUD low-income limits. (See chart below)

The City of Odessa, Community Development department is currently offering assistance for low-income families by providing roof repairs. Listed below are a few pre-qualifications that citizens must meet to be considered for the program:
- Reside within the city of limits of Odessa.
- Own the home in which they reside, must be clear of any liens.
- Property taxes – must have a balance of $150 or less.
- Have a total household income not exceeding HUD low-income limits. (See chart below)
