LOCATION: 5800 Block of South Highway 385
SUMMARY:
A Crane man is dead following a major crash that occurred early this morning in South Odessa. On February 5, 2021 at approximately 0004 hours, Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the 5800 block of South Highway 385.
Investigation revealed that a 2014 GMC Yukon, being operated by Dana Harvey, 30 years of age, was traveling northbound in the 5800 block of South Highway 385 and left the roadway before striking a light pole.
Harvey was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Next of kin have been notified and the investigation continues.
