The first phase of the Faudree Road Project is expected to last 6 months.
The first phase of the Faudree Road Construction Project is scheduled to begin January 3, 2023 and is expected to last approximately 6 months. This construction activity will occur between SH 191 and Windchase Street.
The initial work lasting approximately 4 weeks will consist of constructing a temporary driving surface on the east side of Faudree to maintain two-way traffic.
Once traffic is using the temporary pavement, the focus of the permanent roadway improvements will be to construct the west half of the new Faudree roadway. This will include relocating a 12” waterline, building a concrete lined channel that runs parallel to Faudree on the west side and installing concrete storm water boxes under the intersection at 56th Street. While building the permanent roadway improvements in this first phase, 56th Street will be closed between Faudree Road and Sleepy Hollow Street.”
Interviews can be scheduled with Hal Feldman on December 19-20 or 27-30 to discuss this project.
