It's evident Odessa Animal Shelter Manager Kelley Hendricks loves what she does and loves the animals she's working hard to get placed in good homes.
She spoke with the media today and gave them a look at the latest progress at the new shelter. Hendricks also discussed the animal problem here in our state. She continues to stress it's important for folks to spay and neuter their pets. She also reminds people abandoning animals is a crime!
Later today, we'll also be posting some drone footage giving you an amazing view from above of the new shelter! At this point, it's more than halfway done. The hope is that it will be finished by November if there are no delays.
