FIRE
MARSHAL’S DIVISION
The Fire Marshals Office
consists of 6 employees. All
employees maintain certifications in inspection, investigation, and
law enforcement.
FIRE MARSHAL: Develops, implements, directs and supervises a comprehensive
fire prevention, fire investigation and public education programs.
SENIOR
INSPECTOR (1): Supervises daily inspection
activities of Inspectors. Responsible
for plans review and installation of new alarm and sprinkler systems. Performs inspections on
commercial properties.
SENIOR
INVESTIGATOR (1): Coordinates
fire investigation activities. Maintains
investigation records; monitors and/or prepares court cases. Generates reports on fire
activities and dollar loss. Performs
inspections on commercial properties.
INSPECTOR/INVESTIGATOR
(3): Perform
inspections on commercial property. Responsible for fire investigations. Inspectors
will maintain appropriate records and documentation regarding
inspections and investigations.
All members of the FMO are
actively involved in various public education functions.
PUBLIC
EDUCATION
All members of the OFD are
involved in Public Education. The
Fire Marshal’s Division has the primary responsibility of promoting,
scheduling, and documenting education programs.
