The eligibility requirements for the Senior/Disability Residential Rate are:

• Be at least 65 years of age or show a disability in the same manner as it used to show a disability for homestead exemption under Chapter 11 section 11.13 (c) of the Tax Code.
• The city utility account must be in the person's name.
• The person must reside at the address for the account (only one residence in our service area is eligible).
• The person must file the eligibility contract with the city and show proof of eligibility.
