Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Permits and inspections for the construction, alteration, modification or addition to a home or a building and electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, or gas installation within the City of Odessa or designated Industrial District or water installation within a water district.
- Demolition Permits – to demolish any building or structure.
- Moving Permits – to move or relocate any building or structure (permanent, temporary or portable).
- Water Well Drilling Permits.

- Sign Permits – for the installation and repair of commercial signs.
- Contractor Registration – (Building, Remodeling, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Water Well, etc.) All contractors performing construction related business in the City of Odessa are required to first register with the Building Inspection Division.
- Licensing of Electrical Contractors, Master, Journeyman and Residential Wireman electricians.
