Rev. Roger T. McNeil was elected to the City Council District 1 on November 2012.
A long time Odessan, he has been a citizen for more than 30 years. He is the pastor of St. James Baptist Church. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University and Wiley College.
Rev. McNeil has served on the Ector County Hospital District Board for District 1 from 1990-1992. He currently serves on the Animal Control Advisory Board and on other City Committees.
McNeil would like to focus on zoning issues in South Odessa and bring in more business growth.
He is married to Amye Lee Jones McNeil.
