Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park is one of the main annual attractions that the City of Odessa Parks & Recreation Department hosts throughout the summer months.  These events bring hundreds of families to the parks each year to watch some of the best movies available.  Skip the lines at the Theaters and enjoy FREE movies.  Don't forget about something to snack on, as we have concessions available at each movie. You and your family will NOT want to miss out on this year's season!!

Past Movies:

2012 Films - Hugo, Adventures of TinTin, Captain America:First Avenger, Puss in Boots, Cars 2, The Lorax.  

2013 Summer Season will have more of the best movies around.

Pack up the kids, lawn chairs and blankets and head to the designated Park.
Cartoons will begin around 8:45 p.m. and concessions will be available.  The movies are scheduled to begin at dark.

June 8th -  Sherwood Park - Odd Life of Timothy Green - PG

June 22nd -  UTPB Park - Rise of the Guardians - PG

July 6th -  McKinney Park  - Despicable Me (1) - PG

July 20th -  Lawndale Park - Wreck-It Ralph - PG

August 3rd -  Floyd Gwin Park - Avengers - PG-13 (due to some action violence)

August 17th -  Sherwood Park - OZ: Great and Powerful - PG (*if available)
