Target Robbery Update
Odessa Police have charged one person and are still searching for a second person in connection to the Target robbery investigation. Aaron Kacey Rowden, date of birth 08/18/1986, was charged on 1-8-18 with Robbery "2nd Degree Felony". As a result of a Crime Stoppers tip, Rowden was positively identified as one of the two suspects involved in a robbery that occurred at Target back on 10-31-17. Anyone with information in reference to the identity of the second suspect (Hispanic male shown below) is encouraged to contact Detective W. Summary From 11-3-17:
On 10-31-17 at approximately 1818 hours, Odessa Police responded to 3909 East 42nd Street (Target) in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that two male subjects selected merchandise and took it to customer service. The suspects produced a receipt that matched the item that they were returning and received cash in exchange. When a Target employee confronted both suspects, one of the suspects struck the Target employee in the mouth and knocked her to the ground, causing bodily injury. Both suspects fled the scene in a red Ford Explorer with paper tags on the back and a black tag on the front that says “Sewell Ford”.
