11-3-17 Crime of the Day

On 10-31-17 at approximately 1818 hours, Odessa Police responded to 3909 East 42nd Street (Target) in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that two male subjects selected merchandise and took it to customer service. The suspects produced a receipt that matched the item that they were returning and received cash in exchange.

When a Target employee confronted both suspects, one of the suspects struck the Target employee in the mouth and knocked her to the ground, causing bodily injury. Both suspects fled the scene in a red Ford Explorer with paper tags on the back and a black tag on the front that says “Sewell Ford”.

Anyone with information in reference to the identity of both suspects shown in the Surveillance Footage is encouraged to contact Odessa Police or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS and reference Case #17-30304.
