Flashing Yellow Arrow at County Road West & Clements

Post Date:07/12/2016
A change in the traffic signal operation is coming to the intersection at County Road West and Clements on Thursday, July 14.

Instead of a traditional left turn signal, drivers will see a flashing yellow arrow. The flashing yellow arrow indicates to drivers left turns are allowed after yielding to oncoming traffic.

Research has shown the flashing yellow arrow signals provide a safer left turn for drivers.

Flashing yellow arrows will gradually be installed throughout the City. A flashing yellow arrow signal currently exists at Faudree and East Ridge.
