Water Conservation

Post Date:05/16/2016

As temperatures begin to rise, City officials would like to remind residents to use water wisely. While there are no water restrictions designated, water conservation should always be observed.

• Landscape irrigation should be monitored to avoid runoff. Water runoff of more than 50 feet from the property line is considered nuisance water and could result in an expensive fine.

• Inspect sprinkler heads to ensure they are working properly.

• Visually inspect all pipes, valves and plumbing for leaks and drips.

• Repair dripping faucets and leaking toilets.
