Take Me Fishing

February 3, 2016 – Comanche Trail Pond will be full of Rainbow Trout waiting to bite for young anglers during ‘Take Me Fishing’ on Saturday, February 6, presented by Atmos Energy.

The Odessa Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a ‘Take Me Fishing’ day for children 17 and younger. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. children, with adult supervision, will learn the art of angling from Texas Parks & Wildlife professionals. Parents are encouraged to bring their kids, poles and supplies to enjoy the fun of fishing. There will be free giveaways and prizes.

This free event is scheduled for Saturday, February 6 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Comanche Trail Pond, 301 West Interstate 20 (south of I20 and McKinney Park.)

A fishing license is not required for anyone under the age of 17.
